Share your research with the international headache community at IHC 2027 in Athens. Abstract submissions will provide a platform for original science, clinical insight and emerging approaches across headache medicine.
IHC 2027 will welcome abstract submissions from clinicians, researchers, scientists, allied health professionals and others contributing to headache research, education and patient care.
The Scientific Committee will review submissions for scientific quality, originality, clarity, ethical compliance and relevance to the congress programme.

The following requirements are presented as a working IHC 2027 draft and will be updated when the final submission policy is approved.
Abstracts must be submitted in English and entered through the official online submission portal.
Submissions should contain data, address an appropriate scientific question and meet recognised international ethical standards.
Abstracts should be structured under Objective, Methods, Results and Conclusion.
The final IHC 2027 word or character limit will be confirmed in the official guidelines.
Any permitted tables, figures or supporting documents must comply with the limits published in the final guidance.
All required conflict-of-interest and funding disclosures must be completed as part of the submission.
A concise, well-structured abstract allows reviewers to assess the scientific question, methodology, findings and relevance of the work.
State the purpose or scientific question clearly.
Describe the study design and methods used.
Present the principal findings and relevant data.
Explain how the findings address the objective.
Previous congresses have included a dedicated opportunity recognising outstanding trainee research. Details of any IHC 2027 competition, award or verification process will be announced in due course.
Publication arrangements, including any journal, congress app or digital platform publication, will be confirmed in the final IHC 2027 abstract guidance.
